Our padded garments are made with Primaloft synthetic insulation. Synthetic padding has many advantages over down: you don't need to dry the garment in the tumble dryer with balls to restore its shape, it dries faster and doesn't smell when damp.

Air your clothes instead of washing them to save water and energy and extend their life.
Use a wash bag to protect your clothes and prevent fibers from escaping. When cleaning the bag and filter, be sure to wipe them dry and dispose of any lint in the trash. Never rinse with water, as we don't want the fibers to end up in lakes or oceans.
Machine wash cold.
Use mild, eco-certified detergents, and make sure you use the right dose.
Avoid fabric softeners. As well as being harmful to the environment, they have a negative impact on garment performance, particularly in terms of moisture transport and breathability.
Air dry. Remember to apply heat to the garment after washing to reactivate the waterproof surface of the outer fabric. Use a drying cabinet, tumble dryer or iron. Be sure to keep an eye on the heat so that the garment doesn't melt.
