Description

Inspired by a visit to a Japanese fast food joint, this is a UW. version of a mid-century-inspired American 'Garage' work shirt. It is oversized with a flat square collar and a straight hem. It also has short split sides for a boxy loose fit, and two large pockets with button-closure flaps. This recycled cotton cloth takes its name from its chevron-type weave constructed to resemble the backbone of the humble herring. This denim version has been incredibly popular for a number of summers so how could we leave it out! It returns in some classic but predominantly new styles which we again offer in two washes, one lighter which shouts summer and a darker wash for those who prefer to wear their indigo in naturally. It is soft to handle and so easy to wear developing a unique patina over time. • Loose, boxy fit. • Two oversized, button-down chest pockets with pen holder. • Straight cut hem. • Six button front. • Simple collar.
